DMSB Academy: Education ‘Made in Germany’

International collaboration has become an absolute normality in international motor racing, too: experts from all parts of Europe collaborate in international race meeting to make for well-ordered course of the action, fair competition and safe motor sport. And the training of the experts is just as international. The DMSB Academy has been certified by the FIA as ‘FIA Regional Training Provider’ (RTP) and ‘FIA Medical Regional Training Provider (MRTP). Its international training proposals also comprise the training of experts representing other national motor racing umbrella associations (ASN).

The international education has got advantages for all those involved: thanks to the international line-up for the training courses that are held in English it is possible to offer highly specialised education units. At the same time, this also results in numbers of participants that allow for a bigger scope both in material respect and staff-wise. At the end of the day, the internationalisation represents a possibility to train experts in motor racing and enhance their skills more efficient and more extensive than ever.

2019 Medical Days 2019 to be held from 08th to 10th March

The Medical Days that regularly are attended by international visitors represent an inherent component of the DMSB Academy calendar. In 2019, the event once again will be the place to go not only for the German medical units in motor-racing but also for their international colleagues. From 08th to 10th March, 2019, the Nürburgring will stage the 2019 International Medical Days. The schedule of the event will feature a mix of theoretical tuition and the proven practice exercises that can be held at the circuit in particularly realistic conditions. Registering directly for the different courses is possible from mid-September via the licensee platform mein.dmsb.de. Interested parties from abroad can request the registration documents per email at the DMSB-Academy (organisation@dmsb-academy.de).

The 2019 Medical days offer in particular doctors, paramedics, emergency ambulance men and fire fighters the opportunity to better themselves. The following exams do not only document the acquired knowledge but also turn the graduates into experts with internationally valid certificates. The schedule of the 2019 Medical Days at the Nürburgring arguably will comprise modules for extrication teams, medical-car doctors and paramedics as well as skill enhancements for turning the graduates into chief medicals in motorbike racing as well as doctors in charge in car racing. Additional information, the exact registration data and the time schedules presumably will be available from autumn 2018.
